Women and Child Rights Awareness, Leadership and Advocacy

Human rights social, political and economic rights up now have not been respected and observed in Uganda especially for Journalist, women and children.

Human rights in Uganda relate to the difficulties in the achievement of international rights standards for all citizens. These difficulties center upon lack of provision or enforcement of proper gender and child laws and regulations that favour them, hence leading to socio, economic and political injustices and violations of women and child rights in Uganda.

CESA-Uganda responds to human rights, especially for women and children through promoting human right based advocacy and gender, creating awareness in reproductive rights, economic rights, political rights and domestic violence. In all our programs, CESA-Uganda supports environment free domestic violence and equity, a situation where both women and men have equal opportunities in all aspects of life.
